COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Compassion’s essence is a potent force that can move humanity and transform the darkest circumstances into a tangible expression of love. We at B.A.M recognize the suffering of others and are moved by the love of God to take action to help. Compassion embodies a tangible expression of love for those who are suffering. B.A.M is fuelled by such compassion and love that propels us to assist those in need in the community.

Our Community outreach’s fundamental aim is to transform the lives of individuals in the community, working to deliver services to the vulnerable and homeless, through:

  • Providing warm meals, essential clothing and food to those that are destitute and in need; striving to reduce poverty through education and teaching. Helping the vulnerable, OAP, responding to the cry and need of individuals residing in Hostels; providing a support system and network spiritually, emotionally and physically
  • Working alongside different entities collectively to help drive down and reduce crime within the local Boroughs and schools
  • Professional counselling for those suffering from Mental Health
  • Provide advice and assistance on housing/rent issues

Matthew 28:19-20
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and I am with you always even to the end of the age.”

Homeless Project

01. Cause of Homelessness

Homelessness is a serious and growing problem across London. People become homeless for lots of reasons with challenges like the loss of a job, domestic violence, mental illness, and the death of a partner or parent being just a few. Often it’s the accumulation of multiple, constant pressures that act in unison to cause homelessness.

02. Our ministries assistance

Breaker’s Anointing Support Housing (BASH) is our ministries Homeless Project, which has a goal of reaching beyond the church walls into communities to assist homeless people with their accommodation needs by providing supported housing. We believe that as we do this important work together with our partners, we will have a serious impact on our ever worsening homelessness statistics.

03. The BASH projects

The BASH projects aim is to be part of the solution to what triggers homelessness. We believe more must be done to prevent people from becoming homeless in the first place, and to remove the barriers that are preventing them from leaving homelessness.
